1. Summary
Rent Assistant does not use cookies, advertising or analytics. To keep you signed in and remember your settings, the app saves a few items in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are used only to make the service work.
2. What we store in your browser
When you use the app, your browser's local storage holds:
- Sign-in token: keeps you signed in until you sign out. Signing out removes it.
- Your profile and selected organisation: so the app opens where you left off.
- The list of modules your organisation uses: so the menu loads quickly.
- Language (Serbian, BHS or English) and light or dark theme.
On the guest reservation page only the language choice is stored. Access to the reservation comes from the private link, not from stored data.
3. Why no consent banner is shown
These items are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (signing in) or store a setting you chose yourself (language and theme). They are not used to track you, build a profile or show ads, so they do not require consent.
4. Browser notifications
Staff users can allow browser notifications about new reservations. Only then does the browser register our notification service worker and receive a device token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which we store to deliver the notifications. You can switch notifications off at any time in your browser settings.
5. Third-party content
Our pages do not load fonts, analytics or advertising from third parties. The only external service loaded in the browser is Google Firebase, and only for users who allow notifications.
6. How to remove stored data
Sign out to remove your sign-in token. You can remove everything the app has stored by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings. After that you will need to sign in again and choose your language and theme.
7. Changes to this policy
If we start using cookies or tools that require consent, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them.
